The Craftsmanship

• Authentic Sun-Drying: The craft of the "C" grade begins with the same high-altitude cherries as our premium grades. Spread across expansive drying yards in the Western Ghats, the cherries are manually raked and turned throughout the day. This sun-drying process is carefully managed to ensure the cherries dry uniformly, preventing fermentation taints and locking in the bean’s natural strength.

• Shade-Grown Heritage: Cultivated under the natural forest canopy of Karnataka, these beans benefit from nutrient-rich soil and a slow-ripening process. This traditional agroforestry system ensures that even the smallest beans in our harvest possess a high density and the structural integrity required for industrial use.

• Standardised Sorting: After the dried cherries are de-husked, the green beans undergo precision mechanical sifting to isolate the Screen 14 profile. This is followed by a manual sorting process to remove foreign matter and significant defects. This human touch ensures that our Robusta Cherry C remains a clean and reliable product for international institutional buyers.
