The Sage Way Global Exim: Mastering Time in the Spice Trade. Most exporters start with the product and learn logistics later; we did the opposite. Built on a 13-year family legacy of perishable exports (via Velan Fresh Farm), we bring "Zero-Delay Discipline" to the global trade of coffee and spices. Having mastered the high-pressure environment of air-shipping fresh produce to Singapore, we treat every shipment of dry commodities with the same urgency and precision. Sourcing directly from the estates of Chikkamagaluru and Idukki, we ensure that the potency of the Western Ghats reaches our global partners without the quality drops caused by transit delays.
Registered address: Tumakuru, India. Industry: Agriculture & Agri Products > Agri Produce & Finished Products.

Our Robusta Cherry C is the final exportable grade of the natural (unwashed) Robusta series, consisting of high-density, smaller-sized beans. Retained on a 5.50 mm (Screen 14), this grade is a strategic staple for the global coffee industry. Because these beans are dried within the whole cherry, they retain an intense caffeine concentration and a robust, earthy character, making them an exceptionally cost-effective component for high-volume commercial blends and the production of soluble (instant) coffee.
Aroma: Toasty and rustic with strong notes of roasted malt and cereal.
Acidity: Negligible; it provides a flat, neutral foundation that anchors a blend without adding any unwanted brightness.
Body: Medium to full; the natural processing ensures a consistent mouthfeel and contributes to a stable crema in commercial espresso applications.
Tasting Notes: A straightforward and dependable profile featuring notes of dark cocoa, roasted grain, and a savoury, smoky finish. Its smaller size allows for rapid heat penetration, making it highly efficient for high-speed industrial roasting.
Authentic Sun-Drying: The craft of the "C" grade begins with the same high-altitude cherries as our premium grades. Spread across expansive drying yards in the Western Ghats, the cherries are manually raked and turned throughout the day. This sun-drying process is carefully managed to ensure the cherries dry uniformly, preventing fermentation taints and locking in the bean’s natural strength.
Shade-Grown Heritage: Cultivated under the natural forest canopy of Karnataka, these beans benefit from nutrient-rich soil and a slow-ripening process. This traditional agroforestry system ensures that even the smallest beans in our harvest possess a high density and the structural integrity required for industrial use.
Standardised Sorting: After the dried cherries are de-husked, the green beans undergo precision mechanical sifting to isolate the Screen 14 profile. This is followed by a manual sorting process to remove foreign matter and significant defects. This human touch ensures that our Robusta Cherry C remains a clean and reliable product for international institutional buyers.
