The Sage Way Global Exim: Mastering Time in the Spice Trade. Most exporters start with the product and learn logistics later; we did the opposite. Built on a 13-year family legacy of perishable exports (via Velan Fresh Farm), we bring "Zero-Delay Discipline" to the global trade of coffee and spices. Having mastered the high-pressure environment of air-shipping fresh produce to Singapore, we treat every shipment of dry commodities with the same urgency and precision. Sourcing directly from the estates of Chikkamagaluru and Idukki, we ensure that the potency of the Western Ghats reaches our global partners without the quality drops caused by transit delays.

Our Arabica Cherry A represents the finest grade of unwashed (natural) Indian Arabica. Unlike the "Plantation" grades which are pulped and washed, Cherry coffee is dried with the fruit skin intact. The "A" grade is specifically selected for its bold size, retained on a 6.65 mm (Screen 17). This processing method preserves the natural sugars of the coffee fruit, resulting in a bean that offers a distinctively different profile—one that is wilder, fruitier, and more robust than its washed counterparts.
Aroma: Earthy and sweet, with pronounced notes of dried berries and spice.
Acidity: Mild and winey; a mellow acidity that provides a gentle brightness without the sharp "snap" of washed coffee.
Body: Full and heavy; the natural processing lends a creamy, substantial mouthfeel.
Tasting Notes: A complex, rustic profile featuring deep notes of cocoa, dark stone fruits (like plum or cherry), and a lingering spicy finish. It is exceptionally well-suited for traditional espresso blends.
Sun-Drying Heritage: The craft of Arabica Cherry lies in the drying process. The cherries are spread on clean, elevated drying mats or brick patios under the intense Indian sun. This requires constant manual turning and raking to ensure the fruit dries evenly and prevents any over-fermentation, which could spoil the clean taste of the bean.
Shade-Grown Integrity: Sourced from the high-altitude estates of the Western Ghats, these beans benefit from the slow-maturing process under a natural forest canopy. This allows the fruit to develop a higher sugar concentration, which is then absorbed by the bean during the natural drying phase.
Meticulous Curing: Once the cherries are "husked," the green beans undergo a rigorous cleaning and grading process. We employ both mechanical sifting and manual hand-sorting to ensure that our "A" grade is free from "black" or "sour" beans, delivering a uniform and reliable product to the global market.
