Tasting Notes: A dependable and savoury profile featuring dominant notes of dark cocoa, roasted peanuts, and a pleasant bittersweet finish. It provides a consistent, clean "punch" that holds up perfectly when paired with milk.

The Craftsmanship

Traditional Shade-Grown Method: Cultivated under the natural multi-tier forest canopy of the Western Ghats in Karnataka. This traditional environment protects the cherries from harsh direct sunlight, allowing for a slower maturation that develops a denser bean with a higher concentration of essential oils.
Manual Sun-Drying: The craft lies in the patient, natural dehydration of the whole coffee cherry. Spread across clean brick patios, the cherries are manually raked and turned throughout the day. This labour-intensive process ensures uniform drying and prevents the development of "off-flavours," preserving the clean, bold character of the bean.
Precision Sifting & Sorting: After the dried cherries are mechanically de-husked, the green beans undergo precision sifting to isolate the Screen 15 profile. This is followed by rigorous manual hand-sorting, where our skilled artisans remove any defective beans. This high level of human intervention ensures a clean, reliable, and consistent export product.
