Redwood Viscometer No. 1 is designed for accurate determination of viscosity of petroleum products, lubricants, fuel oils and other low-viscosity liquids having an efflux time below 200 seconds. Suitable for petroleum refineries, oil and lubricant laboratories, road material testing laboratories, educational institutes and third-party testing laboratories, with configurations for manual, digital temperature control and motorized stirring.


Available in Energy Regulator, Digital Temperature Indicator and Motorized Stirrer configurations, featuring a precision-machined viscosity cup, uniform heating bath, standard orifice, receiving flask and optional multi-station arrangements for efficient laboratory testing.

  • Redwood Viscometer No. 1 – Energy Regulator Model – Standard configuration with variable energy regulator temperature control, suitable for routine petroleum and lubricant viscosity testing
  • Redwood Viscometer No. 1 – Digital Temperature Indicator Model – Digital temperature monitoring and control for precise and repeatable viscosity testing
  • Redwood Viscometer No. 1 – Motorized Stirrer Model – Equipped with motorized bath stirring for uniform temperature distribution and convenient continuous operation
  • Redwood Viscometer No. 1 – Multi-Station Model – Multiple testing stations for simultaneous viscosity testing, suitable for laboratories requiring higher testing throughput
  • Redwood Viscometer No. 1 – Spares & Accessories – Standard orifice cups, ball valves, 50 mL receiving flasks, heaters, thermometers, energy regulators and wooden protective carrying cases available as accessories and replacement components
