The Pensky-Martens Closed Cup Flash Point Apparatus is designed to determine the flash point of petroleum products, fuel oils, lubricating oils, biodiesel, bitumen and other combustible liquids under controlled closed-cup test conditions. Available in manual, digital and fully automatic configurations as per ASTM D93, IS 1448 (Part 21), IP 34 and ISO 2719.


Available Models

  • Pensky-Martens – Hand Operated: Standard manual configuration featuring a hand-operated stirrer, controlled heating system and manual flame application. Suitable for routine quality control, educational and laboratory testing applications.
  • Pensky-Martens – Semi-Automatic / Digital: Digital configuration equipped with a microprocessor-based PID temperature controller, motorized stirrer and digital temperature display for controlled heating and improved test repeatability.
  • Pensky-Martens – Fully Automatic / Touchscreen: Advanced automated configuration featuring an LCD touchscreen interface, automated ignition, flash detection, ignition cut-off and cooling system for convenient and high-throughput flash point testing.
