Overview

LMX range of Ground Penetrating Radar LMX GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) systems are portable geophysical equipments which could be effectively used in underground utility detection particularly non-conductive pipes and ducts, culverts, abandoned drains, railway signal cables (buried), outcrops covered under soil etc., using high-frequency Radar. When locating underground utilities, GPR can be a valuable complement to electromagnetic cable and pipe locators. LMX GPR allows users to create depth slices and review their locate path on screen while on site, and selectively enhance shallow/small, medium depth/size, or deep/large targets using the proprietary technology. Advantages of LMX GPRs: * Portable * User intuitive * DynaQ and DynaT functions to control the best towable speed to detect the underground utilities with    precision! * Floatable radar antenna with adjustable height to accommodate with the uneven terrain! * Single power source * 250 MHz / 500 MHz ultra-wide band antenna for surveying shallow medium and deeper utilities * On-site report option! * On board, On-site depth calibration * Processing possibilities on the display unit! * Split screen where the radar image and path of travel could be seen together in LMX 150 / 200 GPR    with line and grid scanning option! * On-board 3D visualisation on the GPR display screen with depth slicing options in LMX 150 & LMX 200    GPRs * GPS enabled (on board) * EKKO Project softwares for post processing of data and for preparation of survey reports. * All GPR data is geo tagged * Competitive pricing! * Option to select various EKKO Project software versions (optional)

Buyer questions

Frequently asked by buyers

Common questions B2B buyers ask before sourcing LMX Range of Ground Penetrating Radars. Answers compiled from verified sellers' commercial terms and platform data.

Q: Can the LMX GPR systems detect non-metallic utilities?
A: Yes, the LMX GPR systems are specifically designed to detect non-conductive pipes, ducts, and other underground utilities that traditional electromagnetic locators may miss.
Q: What is the advantage of having 250 MHz and 500 MHz antennas in LMX GPR systems?
A: The dual ultra-wideband antennas allow surveying of both shallow (250 MHz) and deeper (500 MHz) underground utilities, providing versatile detection capabilities for various site conditions.
Q: How does the floatable radar antenna enhance performance?
A: The floatable antenna with adjustable height compensates for uneven terrain, maintaining optimal ground coupling and consistent signal quality during surveys.
Q: Is GPS functionality integrated into the LMX GPR units?
A: Yes, GPS is integrated on-board for precise geo-tagging of data, enabling accurate location tracking of detected utilities on site.
Q: Are real-time data visualization and reporting supported on-site?
A: Yes, LMX GPR systems provide on-site report generation, split-screen viewing of radar images and travel paths, and 3D visualization with depth slicing for immediate data analysis.
Q: Can LMX GPR data be further processed after field surveys?
A: Absolutely, the systems are compatible with EKKO Project software versions that allow detailed post-processing and preparation of comprehensive survey reports.
