Thin Film Oven (TFO) and Rolling Thin Film Oven (RTFO) are designed for evaluating the effect of heat and air on bitumen/asphaltic materials to determine short-term aging, hardening and mass loss characteristics. Compliant with IS 9382, ASTM D1754, ASTM D2872, AASHTO T240 and IS 15799, they are suitable for bitumen and asphalt testing laboratories, highway construction projects, PWD laboratories, road research institutes, civil engineering laboratories and R&D centres.


Available with conventional TFO, standard RTFO, full Stainless Steel RTFO and advanced PLC & touchscreen HMI RTFO configurations, with precise temperature and airflow control options.


Available Models:

• EIE-105T-2 – Thin Film Oven – Mild Steel outer body with Stainless Steel inner chamber and horizontal rotating shelf for conventional thin film aging tests

• EIE-105T – Standard Thin Film Oven – Designed for IS 9382 / ASTM D1754 testing with rotating shelf and 140 mm dia × 9.5 mm depth sample containers

• EIE-107-RT – Rolling Thin Film Oven – Standard RTFO with vertical rotating carriage, approximately 15 rpm rotation and controlled heated airflow of 4000 mL/min

• EIE-107-RTSS – Stainless Steel Rolling Thin Film Oven – Full Stainless Steel construction for enhanced corrosion resistance and long-term laboratory operation

• EIE-107-RTP-SS – PLC & Touchscreen HMI Rolling Thin Film Oven – Advanced automated model with PLC/HMI control, digital airflow monitoring, temperature logging, automatic over-temperature protection and programmable test sequencing
