The Brazilian Test Apparatus is designed to determine the indirect tensile strength of cylindrical rock core specimens using the diametral compression (Brazilian split-tensile) test method. Available in analog and digital configurations with 100 kN capacity, suitable for rock mechanics, mining, tunneling and geotechnical laboratory testing as per IS 10082-1981 and ASTM D3967.

• Brazilian Test Apparatus – IS 10082-1981: Standard mechanical/analog model featuring a high-rigidity loading frame and curved loading jaws designed for controlled diametral compression testing of cylindrical rock cores.
• Brazilian Test Apparatus – Digital: Advanced digital configuration equipped with a microprocessor-based load indicator, peak-load hold functionality and electronic load measurement for accurate and convenient recording of maximum failure load.
