The Sediment by Extraction Apparatus is designed for the quantitative determination of sediment content in crude petroleum and fuel oils by extraction in accordance with ASTM D473 / IP 53. The apparatus is suitable for petroleum laboratories and quality-control applications where accurate and repeatable sediment determination is required.
