Product Overview

This Suspension Magnet is a non-contact magnetic separator engineered for efficient removal of ferrous contaminants in bulk material processing systems. It is installed above conveyors to extract metal objects such as bolts, nuts, rods, and chips from the moving product stream without interrupting material flow.

Design & Mounting

The unit is built with a heavy-duty magnetic core housed in a robust, coated steel casing to ensure durability in dusty and abrasive industrial environments. Suspension height is typically between 250mm and 350mm above the conveyor, depending on magnetic strength and material thickness.

Applications

Widely used in industries such as cement, mining, quarrying, coal handling, aggregate processing, and recycling. Ideal for processes requiring protection of crushers, grinders, and other downstream equipment from metal damage.

Operation & Maintenance

Designed for low-maintenance operation. For environments with higher contamination frequency, self-cleaning models are available to prevent accumulation and shunting of the magnetic field. Manual models require periodic cleaning of captured ferrous material.
