Product Overview

The Magnetic Pulley is a high-efficiency ferrous metal separator used in bulk material handling systems. Installed as the head pulley in a conveyor system, it continuously extracts tramp iron from conveyed materials, providing reliable separation and reducing equipment wear and tear.

How It Works

As material reaches the conveyor discharge point, the integrated high-intensity magnet inside the pulley attracts and holds ferrous contaminants while clean material continues to flow. Trapped metals are carried around the drum and discharged separately underneath the return belt path.

Design & Materials

Constructed with a non-magnetic stainless steel drum casing and permanent magnets inside, this pulley operates continuously without power. Customizable in diameter, width, and magnetic strength to meet specific processing requirements.
