There are many types of flanges available such as Welding Neck Fence- It is generally used in low temperature and high-pressure applications because they required the unrestricted fluid flow convey by the pipe system. Long welding Neck- They are the same as weld neck only difference is in long welding neck the tapered hub (neck) is enlarged and performs like a boring extension. Slip-on Flange-It is attached to the fittings or the pipe by two fillet welds, one outside the cavity and the other one executed inside the flange. Socket Weld Flange-On the outer side of the flange a single fillet weld is executed to connect this type of flange to the pipes. Lap Joint Flange- The conjunction with a stub end and feature a flat space is always used in this flange. Blind Flange- Because of the required bolting forces and the system pressure, these flanges hold back outstanding mechanical stress.

Some other special types of the flange are Nipo flange, Weldo flange, Swivel Flange, Elbo Flange, and Lactro Flange, Expanding flange, and Reducing Flange.
