Hastelloy c22 is acceptable austenitic tungsten, nickel, chromium and molybdenum based alloy that is having well-improvised resistance ability against stress corrosion cracking, pitting and crevice corrosion. The high content of chromium is providing excellent oxidizing media resistance and tungsten & molybdenum is giving excellent resistance to the oxidizing aqueous media including mixtures containing oxidizing/nitric acid and wet chlorine. Also, it resists acetic acid, seawater, etc.
