The Plate Bearing Test Apparatus is designed to determine the ultimate bearing capacity of soil and modulus of subgrade reaction (k-value) through in-situ plate load testing. Available with different reaction load truss, settlement measurement and data acquisition configurations for foundation engineering, pavement design and geotechnical field investigations as per IS 1888.


Available Models

  • EIE-ST-37 – Plate Bearing Test Apparatus: Complete standard testing system designed as per IS 1888, suitable for in-situ evaluation of soil bearing capacity and settlement characteristics using hydraulic loading and bearing plates.

Available Load Truss Options

  • EIE-ST-37.A11 – 200 kN Load Truss: Structural reaction frame designed for load application up to 200 kN (20,000 kgf).
  • EIE-ST-37.A12 – 300 kN Load Truss: Medium-capacity structural reaction frame rated for loading applications up to 300 kN (30,000 kgf).
  • EIE-ST-37.A13 – 500 kN Load Truss: Heavy-duty reaction frame designed for high-capacity plate bearing tests up to 500 kN (50,000 kgf).
