These bars are widely used in case of elevated temperatures. Its high nickel content and combination with its chromium provides several benefits. These are known to showcase poor resistance when these come in contact with strong oxidizing solutions like hot and concentrated nitric acid. The presence of high chromium content increases its oxidation resistance considerably. This is increased to a level above that of pure nickel. To go with that considerable amount of Nickel provides excellent corrosion resistance under reducing conditions. These are suitable to be both hot formed and cold-formed. This is achieved by well-matched processes.
