Green Beans

Green Beans arrive as raw, unroasted coffee lots prepared for roasting houses and commercial roasters. This introduction clarifies the product's role in the supply chain, highlighting grading and moisture as key procurement factors for roasters evaluating lot performance.

Applications & Use Cases

• Roasters use green lots to craft specific roast curves and menu offerings.
• Commercial blending operations pick lots for consistent base flavors, while specialty roasters select distinct origin lots for single-origin spawning and tasting profiles.

Technical Specifications

• Key evaluation metrics include screen size distribution, moisture percentage at packing, and defect sorting levels.
• These variables determine end-roast behavior, yield, and cup profile.
• Documentation includes lot weight, origin, and packing date for traceability.

Quality & Compliance Checkpoint

• Quality controls emphasize proper drying, moisture checks before packing, and visual inspection for defects.
• For export shipments, appropriate phytosanitary and export documentation can be prepared per buyer needs.

Bulk Supply & Logistics

• MOQ / Pack Options: Bulk jute or lined sacks commonly used; custom liner options available.
• Lead Time: Depends on harvest cycle and buyer scheduling.
• Supply Capacity: Stable seasonal lots with batch traceability.
• Logistics/Cold-Chain: Ambient warehousing recommended; moisture control prioritized during transit.
