Overview

King Chilli (CapsiclIm chinellse) belonging to the family Solanaceaea, is traditionally cultivated in Assam, Nagaland, Manipur and in small quantities in other North Eastern states of India. The chilli has been called by different names. In Assam, it is mostly known as Bhut Jolokia / Ghost Chilli or Bih Jolokia. The present crop is from Upper Assam,  cultivated during March / April 2025 and is a fresh crop, large in size. There is a miniature version of the King Chilli, small in size, harvested during the end of second quarter of the year. Yield is best in Nagaland followed by Manipur and Assam, a bit in Mizoram, Meghalaya. This chilli is also a master blender in spices industry for blending and mixing purposes. Product Description

King Chilli is used as spice, food, medicine. It can be used as relief for asthma patients at low quantities. Regular consumption in small quantities has been known to treat gastro-intestinal abnormalities.


This chilli is known as the world's hottest red chilli with SHU level upto 1 million, I.e. the most pungent chilli. This chilli has wide variety of usage in South East Asian countries for its nutri value as well as elaborative usage in preparation of authentic Chinese and Thai medicine. The oil extracted from this chilli is also exhaustively used in Korean Ramen along with Gochugaru Korean Chilli for 2X flavour. Available in oven dried & smoke dried flavour !!!
