A degassing chamber, also known as a vacuum degassing chamber or vacuum deaeration chamber, is a machine that removes dissolved gases from liquids or trapped gases from solids. It works by lowering the pressure inside a container to create a vacuum environment. This process allows volatile components to evaporate and escape, which improves the quality of the material.

VACUUM DEGASSING CHAMBERS – FURTHER INFORMATION
The chamber lids are manufactured from clear cast acrylic with a polished edge. After the manufacturing process the acrylic is temperature annealed to remove any stresses that may have been induced from the machining and polishing operations.
The open end of the chambers are machined after fabrication and welding to produce a level and smooth seal face. Nitrile rubber ‘L’ gaskets are used as the seal between the lid and the chamber and the result is a leak tight chamber.
All degassing chambers are fully leak tested during manufacturing and again after painting when the seals and manifolds are fitted. The chambers are dispatched complete and ready for immediate use, and there is no need to fit anything to them accept the hose and vacuum pump.
All degassing chambers are covered by a 12 month warranty period.
