Multi Strand House Wire
Multi-strand copper wire is a high-performance electrical conductor manufactured in India using electrolytic tough pitch (ETP) copper of minimum 99.9% purity. Unlike solid wire, it is constructed by twisting or bunching multiple thin copper strands together, which gives it superior flexibility, durability, and ease of installation. This makes it the conductor of choice across a wide range of applications — from residential building wiring and industrial power distribution to automotive harnesses, solar energy systems, and heavy infrastructure projects such as railways and metro rail networks.
Production follows a well-established multi-stage process: copper cathodes are first melted and continuously cast into 8mm rods, then drawn through tungsten carbide dies to the target wire diameter, annealed in controlled atmospheres for the required temper, and finally stranded or bunched into the finished conductor. Quality is verified at every stage through tests covering DC resistance, tensile strength, elongation, resistivity, surface finish, and dimensional accuracy — all in line with IS 8130, IS 694, IS 1554, and IEC 60228 standards. Domestic supply requires mandatory BIS certification and IS marking.
Ceiling Fan available in White, Ivory & Brown
Ceiling fans are electrically operated air circulation devices mounted on ceilings for residential, commercial, and industrial spaces. Indian manufacturers produce ceiling fans using high-grade cold-rolled steel, aluminium, or ABS plastic for blades and motor housings, with copper or aluminium winding motors at their core. Standard sweep sizes range from 600mm (24 inches) to 1200mm (48 inches), catering to rooms of varying dimensions.
Key features across product ranges include double ball bearings for low noise and long life, decorative finishes such as antique brass, matte brown, and pearl white, and compatibility with remote controls, smart home systems, and IoT-enabled regulation. Leading Indian manufacturers include Havells, Orient Electric, Crompton, Bajaj Electricals, and Usha International. Ceiling fans from India are widely exported across South Asia, Africa, and the Middle East
PVC Insulated Tape
PVC insulated electrical tape is a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape made from polyvinyl chloride (PVC) film coated with a rubber-based or acrylic adhesive. Manufactured extensively across India, it is primarily used for insulating, binding, and protecting electrical wires, cables, and connections in residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
Indian manufacturers produce electrical tape in compliance with IS 13360 and IEC 60454 standards, ensuring consistent dielectric strength, tensile properties, and flame retardancy. Standard tape width ranges from 12mm to 25mm, with thickness typically between 0.10mm and 0.20mm. Dielectric strength is rated at a minimum of 6–8 kV, making it suitable for low-voltage applications up to 1100V. The tape offers an operating temperature range of -10°C to 80°C and is available in a full range of colours — black, red, blue, green, yellow, and white — supporting phase identification and colour-coding in electrical installations.
Key performance properties include good elongation (up to 200%), strong adhesion, moisture resistance, and self-extinguishing flame-retardant characteristics. The tape is supplied in rolls of 10m to 20m on plastic cores. Leading Indian manufacturers include Ceat, 3M India, Anchor Electricals, Denso, and Lohmann. The product is widely exported to the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia.
