WPC Board (Wood Plastic Composite Board)

WPC Board (Wood Plastic Composite Board) is a rigid, panel-based engineered product manufactured from a combination of PVC polymer and natural wood fibres/fillers, such as wood powder, sawdust or suitable agricultural waste. The material is processed through an extrusion and foaming process to produce a durable wood-plastic composite panel suitable for furniture and interior applications.

Typical Raw Material Composition

The typical composition of PVC-based WPC Board consists of four major categories of raw materials:

• PVC Resin (K-57 Grade): Approx. 55–60%

• Inorganic Fillers: Approx. 20%

• Natural Wood Fillers/Fibres: Approx. 8–10%

• PVC Additives: Approx. 12–14%

The PVC additive system may include stabilizers, lubricants, processing aids, foaming agents, foam regulators and other functional additives, depending upon the required density, thickness and performance characteristics of the finished board.
