This pump features a design with three screw elements: one power screw and two idler screws, all operating within precision-machined bores. The screws are profiled to form liquid-tight seals between threads, ensuring smooth, pulsation-free flow with minimal noise and vibration. The power rotor drives the idlers through hydraulic forces, reducing friction and enhancing efficiency. A balance piston on the power rotor manages axial thrusts, while the hydrodynamic balance on film lubrication eliminates the need for additional bearings. This design allows the pump to operate at high speeds, directly coupled to prime movers, making it suitable for continuous, maintenance-free operation over extended periods. Typical applications include fuel oil burner service for thermal power plants, industrial package boilers, furnaces, kilns, and combustion systems.
