Spider Plant with Self Watering Pot

Plant Essential:

Fertilizer / Feed for the Plant

The Spider Plant requires organic fertilizer or a balanced liquid houseplant fertilizer every 2–4 weeks during spring or summer. However, take care in winters to avoid over-fertilization — reduce feeding to once a month. To enhance soil nutrients, use well-rotted compost or cow dung manure during repotting.

Repotting:

If growth slows down, it's time to repot your Spider Plant. Choose a slightly larger pot with a proper watering system to allow healthy root expansion. For optimal growth, repotting is best done in spring or early summer.

Propagation:

The Spider Plant is very easy to grow, making it a great choice for indoor gardening. Just cut a stem and plant it in the soil or stick it in water — in no time, new Spider Plants will grow. It's considered one of the fastest-growing and most beautiful trailing plants. Perfect for transforming bare walls or shelves into glowing, energetic green spaces. The cascading vines create a stunning natural look that livens up any room.

Light Requirements:

For healthy growth, the Spider Plant requires bright, indirect sunlight. It's an ideal indoor plant as it can tolerate low-light conditions. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can damage the leaves.

Styling and Décor

This plant brings a calming, stylish aesthetic to any space with its prominent spear-shaped leaves. The deep green color adds natural ambiance to a room. Its cascading growth habit makes it ideal for vertical gardens, creating beautiful green walls by spilling over shelves, pots, or hanging baskets. It's perfect for decorating room corners or shelves that need a touch of life.

The Spider Plant generally requires moderate watering. Our Garth Greens self-watering pots allow only the top inches of soil to be watered, preventing overwatering and maintaining the perfect moisture level.
