The Haumont kit allows to place safely and without pain a silicone catheter for long-term access in the umbilical vein with a specific introducer.With the Haumont kit, the user can choose to place the catheter either in a peripheral vein (basilic, cephalic, saphena...) using the winged needle introducer or in the umbilical vein.If the catheter is inserted in the umbilical vein, it must be placed using one of the 3 introducers (Ø 6Fr, in PVC) supplied in the kit. These introducers have 3 different lengths (8 cm, 9 cm and 11 cm) to suit the size of the baby and the distance of the cord section.Graduations every centimetre up to 25cm. Removable Easy-lock connector with integrated PUR extension tube (10cm long).
