The Signature 2000 Series Probe Detector by Agni Instruments Engineers India Private Limited is a precision-engineered thermal detection device designed for demanding industrial and commercial environments. It operates as a fixed-temperature, auto-resetting heat detector, ideal for applications where rapid heat detection is critical.

Constructed using high-grade 7000 / 2000 series aluminum, the detector offers exceptional resistance to corrosion, shock, and harsh environmental conditions. The probe contains a heat-sensitive bimetal thermostat switch that activates when the preset temperature threshold is reached, closing the electrical contacts to trigger an alarm. Once the temperature falls below the set point, the system automatically resets.

The detector supports a wide temperature range (factory preset between 60°C to 150°C), making it suitable for diverse applications such as industrial kitchens, HVAC ducts, boiler rooms, heavy machinery zones, and chemical processing plants.

Its gold/silver-plated contacts ensure reliable conductivity, while nickel-plated copper cables with high-grade insulation enhance durability and safety. With dual LED indication and compliance with EN 54-5-7 and IS 2189 standards, this detector delivers consistent performance in critical fire safety systems.

A blinking red LED indicates normal and healthy operation status of the device, confirming that the probe sensor is functioning correctly. When the red LED remains steadily ON, it signifies that the probe heat sensor has been activated and the fire alarm zone circuit has triggered an alarm condition.
