Automatic transmission

The WA380-5 has an electronically controlled modulation valve that selects the appropriate gear speed based on travel speed, engine speed, and other conditions. The WA380-3 has an automatic shift control that allows the operator to select automatic or manual shifting.

Manual shifting

The WA380-6 has two-lever electronic shift control levers that allow the operator to select gears and change direction without removing their hands from the steering wheel. The WA380Z-6 has an operator-controlled system that allows the operator to select manual shifting or two levels of automatic shifting.

Mode select system

The WA380-8 has an auto shift transmission with a mode select system. The WA380Z-6 has an Auto L mode that keeps the engine running at a lower RPM range to save fuel.
