Handmade Fabric Tree Decorations Hanging Ornament

Material & Form

Construction uses cut-and-sew fabric panels with internal fill to control silhouette. Edge finishing and seam allowance are set to prevent fraying for open-weave shells. For fabric types with pile (velvet), nap direction is noted on tech packs to secure shade consistency across lots.

Performance & Handling

Choice of shell fabric affects perceived value and handling durability. Mid-weight fabrics reduce deformation and provide stable hang; lighter fabrics require denser fill or internal stiffeners. Color fastness and shrinkage are controlled via pre-treatment and dye-lot records; buyers can request test reports during sampling.

Production & Quality Controls

Quality checkpoints include seam integrity check, bead attachment inspection and shade batch sampling. For private-label runs, a pre-production sample with labeling and packaging is recommended to lock specifications and avoid delays during bulk production.

Applications & Use Cases

• Retail replenishment (sourcing lead buyer): constraint — tight shelf replenishment windows — outcome: agreed lead-time and carton counts to match store cadence.
• Seasonal capsule collection (merchandise planner): constraint — coordinated color across SKUs — outcome: dye-lot control and strike-off approval prior to bulk run.
