Handcrafted Wooden Jewellery Box: Rajasthani Folk Art Storage

Jewellery tells a story. So does the box that holds it. This handcrafted wooden jewellery box, painted with Rajasthani folk art motifs, is as much a keepsake as it is a storage piece — the kind of box that gets passed down, not packed away. About the Craft Made from seasoned wood by artisans in Rajasthan, this jewellery box is hand-painted with traditional Rajasthani folk art — bold floral motifs, geometric border patterns, and the warm colour palette of Mewar's visual tradition. The interior is fitted with compartments for earrings, rings, bangles, and necklaces. Every box is painted by a single artisan, making each one subtly unique. The hinges and clasp are sturdy and smooth. Vastu Tip Store your jewellery box in the north or north-east zone of your bedroom or dressing room. In Vastu, the north is governed by Kuber, the lord of wealth — storing jewellery here is believed to maintain and attract abundance. Avoid the south-west, which can cause possessions to feel stuck rather than flowing and growing. Perfect For Dressing tables and bedroom shelves — functional and deeply decorative Wedding gifts — a beautiful, personal, and lasting choice Birthday and anniversary gifts for women who love both jewellery and craft Trousseau and bridal gifting sets Anyone who wants their dressing space to feel curated, not cluttered Frequently Asked Questions Does the box have compartments inside? The slight variation in grain, colour, or finish is not a defect -- it is the signature of handmade work. Your piece will never be identical to anyone else's. That is what you are paying for. The heritage you are gifting This piece is hand-carved from solid wood by the wood-working families we partner with in Rajasthan. No moulds, no shortcuts, each curve is cut and smoothed by hand, which is why no two are exactly alike. Solid wood like this is meant to be kept, not replaced, so it tends to stay in a home for years and pick up a little more character as it goes.
