GAYNUT – Y® CNSL (Cashew Nut Shell Liquid) base Mortar is a Non-porous, self-hardening and relatively plastic in nature. When GAYNUT-Y® set and cooled, impermeable dense cement is obtained. It is hardened by chemical reaction. It is thermosetting resinous cement. It resists acids, acidic salts, alcohols, grease, fats, mineral oils & alkalis. IT resists hydrofluoric acid up to 40% concentrations. GAYNUT – Y® is not recommended for certain solvent and in situations where the temp. Is more than 100 0CUseGAYNUT – Y® can be used in laying (bedding) and pointing (joint filling) of acid proof bricks and tiles for the construction of acid resistant tank linings, flooring surfaces, GAYNUT – Y® can be safely used as jointing material for jointing pipes line transporting corrosive fluids like alkalis, solvents, acids and oils.
