The outer and inner layers of this underground drainage pipe are designed to take the load, while the middle layer of foamed PVC gives rigidity while maintaining the shape of the pipe under load. It reduces the total weight of the pipe and makes it light when compared to solid wall PVC drainage pipes and fittings.
