Description:

Ethylene Dichloride (EDC) is a colorless liquid with a sweet odor. It is a chlorinated hydrocarbon commonly used as an intermediate in the production of vinyl chloride monomer (VCM), which is the precursor to polyvinyl chloride (PVC). EDC is also used as a solvent and in various other chemical manufacturing processes.
