Dr. Brownlee described the groundbreaking speed as “more than five times the escape velocity of the planet.”Manholes: if you have double the number of manhole covers it is more than likely that you have a dual drainage system which carries soil and waste water.Ductile iron is a multiphase material containing graphite particles as secondary phases (7-15 Vol. %) in the matrix. Graphite particles can act as stress concentrators that cause cracking at the graphite- matrix interface during deformation
