Desert Duo: Handcrafted Wooden Rajasthani Figurine Set

The camel is as much a part of Rajasthan's identity as its forts and its festivals. The Desert Duo captures that iconic form in a handcrafted wooden figurine set that carries the colour and character of the Thar desert. Each piece is carved from seasoned wood by Rajasthan artisans and hand-painted with the vivid folk motifs that define Rajasthani craft, mirrored accents, bold patterns, and intricate detail work done without a stencil. Place this duo on a shelf, mantle, or side table for an instant Rajasthani character. A particularly striking gift, encapsulating the spirit of a place for someone who has never been, or for someone who wants to carry a piece of it home. Each Desert Duo set is individually painted and will vary slightly in colour, the nature of handcraft. A beautiful Rajasthan-inspired souvenir, gifting choice, or housewarming present. Our animal figurines are made from seasoned Kadamb or Babla wood, hand-carved and hand-painted by artisan families in Rajasthan. Check the specific listing for material details. Will there be variations from the photo? Yes. Each piece is handcrafted individually, so subtle variations in grain, colour, or brushwork are normal. These are the marks of the artisan's hand, not defects. How do I care for a wooden figurine? Wipe with a dry cloth. Avoid prolonged moisture exposure. Keep out of direct sunlight to preserve colour. Can I place it outdoors? Wooden figurines are for indoor use only. Outdoor exposure will damage the wood and paint over time. Is it gift-ready? Yes. Comes in Premloom Envision packaging. Here is the difference: every Premloom piece is made by a named artisan family in Rajasthan. No factories, no resellers, no mass production. When you order, a real craftsperson goes to work. The slight variation in grain, colour, or finish is not a defect -- it is the signature of handmade work. Your piece will never be identical to anyone else's. That is what you are paying for. The heritage you are gifting This piece is hand-carved from solid wood by the wood-working families we partner with in Rajasthan. No moulds, no shortcuts, each curve is cut and smoothed by hand, which is why no two are exactly alike. Solid wood like this is meant to be kept, not replaced, so it tends to stay in a home for years and pick up a little more character as it goes.
