Coco Chips Block

Coco chips are made from the coir (fibrous material) extracted from coconut husks. The larger, chunkier texture provides superior drainage and airflow to the plant roots, making it ideal for orchids, succulents, and other plants that require excellent aeration.

Water Retention & Drainage: While coco chips allow for water retention, their structure ensures that water drains away efficiently, preventing waterlogging and ensuring roots receive both moisture and air, which is vital for healthy root development.

Durability: Coco chips blocks are long-lasting and do not break down easily, making them suitable for long-term use in hydroponics and gardening setups. They maintain their structure for a prolonged period, reducing the need for frequent replacement.

Environmental Benefits: Coco chips are a sustainable, renewable resource that is an eco-friendly alternative to peat moss and other non-renewable growing mediums. They are biodegradable and contribute to reducing waste from coconut processing.

PH Neutral: Coco chips have a neutral pH, which makes them suitable for a wide variety of plants. They help stabilize the pH of the growing medium, preventing soil acidity or alkalinity issues.

Ideal for Specific Crops: Due to their excellent drainage and aeration properties, coco chips blocks are particularly suitable for crops like orchids, anthuriums, strawberries, and other plants sensitive to over-watering.

Usage: To use coco chips blocks, simply hydrate them in water to expand and prepare the growing medium. They can be mixed with other growing media such as coco peat or perlite, depending on the plant requirements.

Easy Handling and Storage: Like coco peat blocks, coco chips blocks are compact, making them easy to store and transport. Once expanded, they offer a significant volume, reducing the need for large quantities of medium.
