Rabeprazole Sodium is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that blocks the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system in gastric parietal cells, effectively reducing the secretion of hydrochloric acid in the stomach. It provides long-lasting acid suppression, enabling ulcer healing and relief from symptoms like heartburn, acid regurgitation, and epigastric pain.
