Chowki

The Chowki, the low, square platform, is one of the most fundamental objects in Indian puja practice. Idols, diyas, incense holders, and sacred items all rest upon it, elevated from the ground as a mark of reverence. This handcrafted wooden Chowki from Premloom Envision brings artisan craft to this everyday sacred object: carved from seasoned wood and finished in the Rajasthan folk-art tradition, it elevates the puja space in both a literal and aesthetic sense. The Chowki works as a platform for a single primary idol, as part of a larger puja arrangement, or in a minimalist home as a display platform for a single meaningful object. Crafted to sit level and hold weight securely, both beautiful and functional. A meaningful addition to any home's puja corner and an appropriate gift for a new home or a family setting up a puja space for the first time. Vastu TipA puja Chowki is traditionally placed in the northeast corner of the puja room, facing east. The northeast is the zone of divine energy and the most sacred direction for worship in Vastu.
