It is leno weave cotton gauze which has been impregnated with an ointment having petroleum jelly (soft paraffin) containing 0.5% w/w Chlorhexidine Acetate B.P. covered between two vegetable parchment papers and packed in a peel able pouch and Gamma irradiated to sterilize it.
