Cavendish Banana Exporter and Supplier from India - Naskar Exim

Leading Producer of Cavendish Bananas
India is one of the world’s largest producers of Cavendish bananas, offering consistent quality and volume for international markets. The key varieties exported include Grand Naine (G9) and Robusta, both known for their sweetness, uniform size, and extended shelf life.

Ideal Growing Conditions and Sourcing States
Bananas are primarily cultivated in tropical zones across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala. These regions benefit from rich soil, favorable temperatures, and year-round growing seasons, which help maintain consistent supply and export readiness.

Export Packaging and Logistics
Cavendish bananas are packed in 13–18 kg ventilated corrugated boxes and shipped via refrigerated containers (reefers) at controlled temperatures of 13–14°C to maintain freshness and quality during transit.

Compliance and Documentation
Each shipment complies with international phytosanitary and trade standards. Required export documentation includes a Phytosanitary Certificate, Certificate of Origin, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, and Export License.

Opportunities and Challenges
Growing demand in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Malaysia, Singapore, and Europe is driving banana exports from India. Organic banana exports are also gaining traction. However, exporters must manage challenges such as cold chain logistics, quality control, and compliance with import regulations.
