ASTM A350 LF2: Specifically designed for low-temperature applications, maintaining its toughness and durability in cold environments.
ASTM A694: A higher-strength grade used primarily in high-pressure oil and gas transmission.
ASTM A516: Often used for plate flanges in moderate to lower temperature services.

Pressure Ratings & Standards

Flanges are classified by their pressure-temperature capability, adhering to standards like ASME B16.5 for smaller sizes (up to 24") and ASME B16.47 for larger diameters.

Standard Classes: Common pressure ratings include Class 150, 300, 400, 600, 900, 1500, and 2500.
