Frequently asked by buyers

What makes Basmati Rice 1121 Golden Sella different from regular Basmati rice?

The 1121 Golden Sella is a parboiled (Sella) variety, which means it undergoes steam treatment before milling, giving it a golden hue, firmer texture, and higher nutritional retention compared to regular white Basmati rice.

Is this rice suitable for restaurant and catering business use?

Yes, its long grain elongation and firm texture make it ideal for high-end food preparations and festive recipes commonly required by restaurants and catering services.

Does the parboiling process affect the aroma and taste of this rice?

While parboiling slightly changes the texture, the rice retains its characteristic Basmati aroma and develops a richer taste profile suitable for gourmet cuisines.

How should Basmati Rice 1121 Golden Sella be stored to maintain quality?

Store in a cool, dry place with airtight packaging to ensure maximum shelf life and prevent moisture absorption, ideally between 12 to 18 months.

What packaging options are available for bulk purchase?

The rice is available in commercial bulk packaging options such as 25kg and 50kg sacks specially designed for foodservice and business buyers.
