Lamda Off road accessories

Get all the benefits of a 4 wheel drive jeep with the economy of a 2 wheel drive Jeep using the Lamda Free wheeling hubs. This is because, 90% of the time, 4 wheel drive jeeps are running in 2 wheel drive with the front wheel locked to the gear train, thus unnecessarily consuming precious fuel. This can be prevented by using the Lamda free wheeling hub.

When in free position, the hub disconnects the wheel from the front axle shaft, differential gears and the propeller shaft and the revolution of the front wheel becomes free, giving the following benefits:

• Increase in Mileage

• Better pick up

• Steering becomes free

• Less load on engine

• Less wear on the front differential

• Less noise from the gear train

When in the lock position, the axle shaft and the vehicle wheel are connected and the vehicle runs like a normal 4 wheel drive. The hub can be operated between the two positions easily by hand without any tools.
