This is a Two-part No-bake System comprising Resol-type Alkaline Phenolic Resin as Binder and Single or mixture of esters as the Hardener. The system is ideally suited for Steel, Iron and Aluminium castings. It exhibits excellent high temperature properties (superior thermal characteristics) resulting in a substantial reduction in casting defects like veining, scabbing, inclusions, hot tear, etc.

We are providing various grain sizes suiting customer’s applications. In areas where high refractoriness is needed and silica is not able to withstand the metal temperature. Chromite sand avoid Sand expansion defect due to high rate of expansion in Silica.

Forfuran binders are Cold-Setting Two-part Resin Systems comprising Furfuryl Alcohol-based Resins as Binders and a single or a mixture of organo-inorganic acids as Hardners. The system suits Steel and Iron Castings. Castings made out of this system are fairly good.

This is specially manufactured to produce molds & cores for high end use with high HTS particularly thin cores like water jacket, two wheeler cylinder head etc.
