Work from Home Policy
Overview and Purpose
Work from home policy document reflects the overarching guidelines that (Company) uses for our team members. At (Company), our flexible work policy uniquely positions our team members to get work done successfully during any situation. Since inception, championing an ever-evolving and flexible work culture has been a key component of our (Company)’s mission.
Established in 2013, our “Connected Minds” program is a strategic business initiative that allows our team members to choose the work style that suits them best.
The “Connected Minds” initiative has impacted our business in a positive way, including our approach to hiring and talent management. But more than just a policy, this initiative is much more about a change in perspective about work - where work is not anchored to office and time and instead is focused on outcomes.
We will continue to learn, grow, inspire, invest, and evolve our “Connected Minds” initiative to enable our employees to be the best version of themselves and grow.
Purpose:
(Company) is committed to providing an impeccable work-life balance and to exploring flexible work practices with its employees. The purpose of this policy document is to outline the guidelines and eligibility requirements regarding the Connected Minds initiative.
Scope:
This policy applies to employees of (Company), and its subsidiaries (Fully or Partially owned), unless they have a separate and distinct Work from Home Policy on the subject matter.
This document does not cover inter-country and international moves unless approved in writing from the appropriate authority. Employees considering a move to a different location (e.g. state, city, country, region, etc.) must obtain necessary permissions.
Definitions:
Under the Connected Minds initiative, the following are the working arrangements available when it is agreed between (Company) and the employees to work remotely on a regular basis:
Remote Employee: Remote employees who perform their assigned jobs exclusively from home. For clarification, team members who occasionally visit the (Company) office to meet and/or collaborate with their colleagues or attend meetings but have a dedicated workspace outside of a (Company) facility are still considered Remote Employees.
Policy Adherence and Expectations:
Employees approved for the Connected Minds initiative are expected to maintain normal productivity and performance.
They are expected to work for a minimum of …….. Hours every month.
Their working hours will be in accordance with the employment contract.
Any employee working for more than this period is eligible for prescribed comp offs subject to approval from management.

Eligibility and Approval:
Employees who wish to participate in the Connected Minds initiative must ensure the following.
Eligibility: Employees must ensure their position is eligible to work on a remote, they must discuss the eligibility with their respective team manager. Certain positions due to the nature of the responsibilities are not possible to perform from a Non-(Company) facility.
For example, but are not limited to Any positions which require a physical presence, Any jobs which have a technology constraint, Any jobs which have a security constraint that cannot be maintained from a remote location.
Approval: Employees must ensure their team manager/Management agrees and approves their work arrangements. At all times, Work from Home will be subject to the continuing approval of the management.
Management reserves the right to revoke/withdraw work from home approval upon reasonable notice.
Suitable Remote Work Area: It is the individual’s responsibility to ensure they have a suitable, safe, and healthy work environment work area available when working from home. If an employee returns to work exclusively at a (Company) facility, they must un-enroll from the Connected Minds initiative; they will not be eligible for any or all the incentives applicable in the Connected Minds initiative
Allowances: In addition to the provided IT equipment.....
No Additional Expenses: No additional expenses are covered under the Connected Minds initiative, other than already approved & declared in writing from the management. Expenses incurred by employees that are not covered by already approved incentives are not eligible for reimbursement under the Connected Minds initiative (e.g. telecom charges, stationery, travel, etc.). If the Employee has a legitimate business expense not covered by the provided incentives, they must get approval from Team Manager and it will be subject to (Company) management’s approval & Travel & Expense policy. Employees can not claim to travel or meal charges in connection with travel to/from a remote work location to a (Company) facility.
Data Security: Employees must ensure they have the proper IT systems and technology to perform their job duties from a remote location. If approved to participate in the Connected Minds initiative, employees working remotely will be responsible for confidential data, so ......
