Definition: The measurement of physical characteristics of the human body and the development of equipment to fit them, so that strain on the body is reduced.
Example: The founder’s bid to make his office ergonomic for his employees resulted in better work outcomes & higher productivity over the following year.
Business Insight: The traditional work environment is not well suited for the care and rehabilitation of the human body. Ergonomic work spaces, with standing desks, or chair that support the back can make a big difference to the life & health of an employee.
