Definition: A buyer person is the summary of an ideal buyer, based on market research, product prototyping, data and hypothesis.
Example: The buyer persona for the boutique fashion outlet was found to be a young corporate working woman. The boutique ran an extensive campaign to target the buyer matching the persona and received 40% extra footfall in their retail outlet.
Business Insight: The representation helps marketers define their ideal audience and it helps salespeople determine lead quality and mobilise resources to that persona.
